AP--Paragon City, Rhode Island. Reports have surfaced that Dr. Maxwell Colt, leader of the Jupiter Foundation, was rushed to the nearby Atlas Park hospital after a recent Rikti invasion wave. Details are few but what is known is the doctor's was found unconscious north of Prometheus Park and eyewitness accounts state he collapsed from injuries sustained while defending two civilians from Rikti invaders.
"He kept these two huge Rikti at bay while this young couple ran for shelter in a building. I thought he was going to make it too but then three more Rikti came from nowhere. When they finally left, he was just lying there on the sidewalk," said John Parsons. Parsons is reported to have seen the entire event while taking shelter in his car. "I think I was the first one there. He seemed pretty banged up. I don't know why he didn't get transported back to the hospital."
A Longbow agent, speaking in anonymity, states she was on the scene immediately after the all clear was sounded. "Things have gotten pretty chaotic since the waves started. But, I heard the call that Dr. Colt might be injured and I flew over as soon as I heard it on the comm. I'm a big admirer of his work and if I could help him in any way, I was going to do it." She went on to state, "He had taken a few injuries but I think he'll be alright. After the past week, I've seen worse. Much worse."
The Jupiter Foundation has reported that Dr. Colt left the office building on undisclosed business a few hours prior to the following round of Rikti attacks. They have not, however, officially stated Dr. Colt's condition or if he is still in the Atlas Park Hospital. Atlas Park hospital has refused comment but has stated that none of their teleportation systems were overloaded the day of the attack which might have explained Dr. Colt not being instantly transported for care.

Jupiter Foundation Comes To Paragon City
AP -- Paragon City, Rhode Island. Known around the world for his work in understanding Rikti technology, world exploration, and his humanitarian efforts, the current leader of the Jupiter Foundation Dr. Maxwell Octavius Colt recently stated in a press release that the move of his base of operations from Chicago to Paragon City was nearly complete. Dr. Colt announced the move back in late June of this year stunning many with his claims of another Rikti invasion.
The change in base location for the Jupiter Foundation was based on several calculations by Dr. Colt that a second Rikti invasion is very close at hand. "According to my data and several fluctuations I've witnessed, I feel that the Rikti are close to attempting another attack. I believe that attack will focus on the very city that caused their defeat. This is why the Jupiter Foundation is here. We're here to help."
The move was dismissed by Senator Gilmore of Rhode Island as simply another attempt at press coverage. "Dr. Colt, though holding a stunning amount of achievements, has not offered my office any conclusive proof that his theories can be supported. If he wishes to move to Paragon City, I wish him the best but do not instill a wave of panic in the populace over it."
However, the relocation of the Jupiter Foundation was warmly received by others in the Paragon City government. "Even if the Rikti don't arrive we have plenty of things for Dr. Colt and his crack team to help us with. Whether its helping with the crime situation or helping repair the Faultline dam, we welcome the aid, bravery, and skill brought to this city by the Jupiter Foundation," said Brighid Moreira, City Representative during a press conference.

First founded by Colt's grandfather, Octavius Colt, in 1924, the Jupiter Foundation has led the way in several humanitarian and scientific projects. Leadership of the foundation was handed to Dr. Colt after the mysterious death of his father while traveling in the Amazon basin in 1996 and since that time Dr. Colt and his team of experts known as the Thursday Irregulars have led the way on several international projects. Following the first Rikti invasion, Dr. Colt focused almost exclusively on harnessing Rikti technology. His latest success has been the development of an android based on initial plans drawn up and attempted by his grandfather. Maxwell Colt is known by many as not only the founder of the Jupiter Foundation but for his work as a test-pilot, businessman, and his acting work on screen.
